The unusual situation on site, with an elongated and narrow space integrated into the harbour promenade, was the starting point for our exhibition design.

A linear sequence runs through the spatial typology, the zones of the exhibition, in individual layers.

Each module is assigned an individual function, its own content.

Each module is designed to meet the specific needs of the theme.

The wall panels go up to the ceiling at the back of the room. They can also be used as a frame for hanging a wide variety of media.

You can also partition off all the zones if you want to keep the exhibition open while a lecture is taking place. This means you can make the most of the space you have, and you can add more areas to the rear wall if you need to.

The way you use the area facing the front of the building lets you communicate with the outside world in lots of different ways.

In the areas where the windows open, the structure is set back, while it goes all the way to the top of the pillars at the front of the building.

The idea of sustainability is carried on in the interior design. The exhibition isn't just about sustainability, it's also a great example of sustainable building.
